We wanted to share this message from a friend's Facebook post shared with A Better Dunwoody.
Kudos to the Dunwoody Police Department for their diligent house watch program! I signed up for them to watch the house while we were gone for nearly 3 weeks. We came home to find Officer Tate's business card ON our kitchen island....yes, IN the house. We sat there wondering how on Earth he got into the home...then noted the remarks he'd written on the back of his card..."basement door unlocked". (!!!) It shows how thorough their checks are - going to each door to check that the house was secure - or not! This is yet another reason this City's such a great place to live...I doubt Dekalb County police would've been as thorough! Thank you, Officer Tate for watching out for us!
